I'm looking forward to reviewing this one. I haven't seen it in the theater yet, but I've read the script.

I loved the series, and I had planned to see the movie, but it only played in one theater in my city some 45 minutes from where I live, so no dice. Can't wait to get this disc.

I never watched the series or the movie. Anyone care To briefly describe the series and movie?
But a family cat is not replaceable like a wornout coat or a set of tires. Each new kitten becomes its own cat, and none is repeated. I am four cats old, measuring out my life in friends that have succeeded but not replaced one another.--Irving Townsend

This is the opening of the movie that is meant to get most everyone up to speed. There are some minor spoilers.

The movie is written so that anyone can understand who's who even if they haven't seen the series before. Between that and the movie's opening scene that Cameron linked above, you can watch the movie without fear of confusion.

I was going to see this in the theater, but felt super guilty since this was something the BF shared with me. Veronica Mars is his favorite TV show ever; we finished the series this past Christmas. So, since I wanted to make sure we kept this an "us" thing, I opted not to see it...even though he told me I could.

Really looking forward to getting my hands on the BD...already pre-ordered!

I had read somewhere that it was also going to be offered On Demand PPV, but it didn't show up on my Time Warner cable listing. So, it'll have to be the Blu-ray for me, too, for my premiere viewing.

the  theatre release of veronica was very limited. A local theatre got it, I was able to see it twice. that was really cool. they are still expanding it in theatres so I would still look for it.
