I'm attaching a picure of my layout. The red box on the picture is where our fuse box is (rec room). It sits right above the top of the couch. I bought this: http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/dendht1513ba/denon-dht-1513ba-home-theater-system-w/boston-acoustics-speakers/1.html
and I'm unsure where to place the speakers because of this fuse box.
Option A is to place it right next to the fuse box in that corner a little above ear level. I'm afraid the rest of the people sitting on the other side of the couch (bottom of picture) will not hear anything from that speaker cause it will kind of cut them off.
Option B is to place the speaker above the fuse box. This will put it at about 6 1/2 feet off the floor. If this is the case, do I angle them downward? Would i then keep the front speakers still at ear level then? Would this be too high?
I can't really place them on the "side" wall (or bottom wall on the picture) because the fuse box door swings open.
Sub would be up front next to the center speaker
What are your thoughts? Any other ideas?
