The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Looks like a week without any purchases for me, but I'll have a few rentals. Thanks for the RoundUp Mike!

I'll pick up Inside Llewyn Davis this week. It was probably the best Coen brothers movie since Fargo and was criminally ignored by the Academy (it was better than nearly every movie nominated for Best Picture).

Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Including the Twilight Time releases, I have eight films on my review docket for this week, none of which I have in hand yet. It will be a busy week indeed!

I do want and will eventually get Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and El Dorado.

Thanks, Mike!

I typically really like films by the Coen brothers so I'm looking forward to inside Llewyn Davis. Travis, if it's as good as you say, I'm sure I'll eventually buy it. I'm hesitant to go with a blind buy since there hasn't been too much buzz about it.

Inside Llewyn Davis for me as well. Sight unseen purchase but I generally like/love Coen Bros. films so I think I'll be on safe footing. Thx for the WRU!

I have Winnie the Pooh on pre-order, but that is a terrible price.  I may be cancelling it...

FYI, the Amazon link for Giant takes you to the order page for Jamesy Boy.

I'll pick up the Coen Brothers film when it drops in price.

It seems like it's even 'controversial' amongst Coen fans, some love it and some don't. I'm definitely in the camp that loves it but it isn't as funny as many of their movies (though it's certainly got laughs). While it was mostly ignored, I think time will be very kind to it.

Got a few of the Twilight Times coming, and I'll eventually want other catalog titles I see here.  Not a bad week at all, even if it means no immediate action on my part!    :)

Amazon has dropped the price to $21.28.    Best Buy has it listed on the website for $17.99 but apparently it isn't in the ad.  Wonder if they'll even carry it in stores.   I have it ordered from Amazon but wonder if they'll PM BB.com.    If I knew BB would carry it in their stores I'd wait since I also have a $5 RW Cert.

That's getting closer to a good price.  I think Amazon will bring it down...but it might be Tuesday before it happens to make sure this isn't just a pre-order price.  Thanks for the update, Bill!

Bill...Amazon has it down to $18.49 as of right now.  Probably another price adjustment coming before the end of tomorrow.

Mine has already shipped, apparently, and will be here tomorrow.
