Cast announcement tomorrow.

Two big changes already...

Brooke out...Erin in. uuuhhhh, wha???

The band is gone.
But there's a new band in, so at least they haven't gone to canned music. And speaking of canned, Brooke Burke was certainly easy on the eyes but she was pretty dreadful in the interview segments. Erin Andrews should be a solid upgrade.

Not a lot of cast rumors floating around yet - I think Bruce Jenner is in, and Richard Sherman would be a great choice just so Erin Andrews could interview him again. I expect they'll also get someone from the Olympics - either Ashley Wagner or Lolo Jones or Bode Miller.

I was going to post about the new season, but you beat me! :)I was very surprised by the changes this season. Brooke Burke's departure was a surprise. She is certainly taking it well in her public appearances when asked about it.Erin Andrews, another former dance contestant is also very easy on the eyes. But her hiring is as much a surprise. I can agree she will be an upgrade in terms of her journalistic skills. What I don't understand because I don't watch her on her day job is what happened, is it off season for her job? No doubt from the last two seasons, the show is slipping in ratings, so severe changes were probably decided upon. The band has been great so far. So Harold's departure is another shock. Maybe to bring back viewers, the new cast will include some "A" listers?

The cast announced. Surprised a little that Maks is back after all the hubbub on his leaving, must have been desperation on either the producers to bring him back because he was popular, or he wasn't doing much.Candace Cameron Bure- Full House actress Partner- Mark BallasCharlie White- Olympic ice dancer. The eye candy is so-so this season.

Witney scares me, I think I like her Utah/SYTYCD gal-pal Lindsay better (but she's probably not as good a choreographer as Witney).

If Derek wins this season (and survives the partner shake-up and sticks with Purdy), gotta give him all the teacher props. :D

Gotta wonder if Charlie and Meryl were brought on because Derek coached them at the Olympics. Just seems kind of fishy. But on the other hand, Derek is not a parter with Meryl and the show does bring on an Olympic athlete each season. This year it happens to be a pair.

Brooke? You mean Erin?Definitely the weakest dancer was Billy. Seems more and more unfair of the show to be inviting the older celebrities who will not be able to keep up with the younger more able ones.At first, I thought Diana Nyad was mismatched with her pro, she seems she could be better served with a pro whose more experienced with the show. Interesting twist of doing the next dance as one the stars wanted to do.

My comment was about the smashed cleavage push-up they had Erin in. Brooke(enhanced or not) never had 'embraced squeezed. I can see three males going first.Avery(first), Billy and Simpson. Bet Nays makes it further than those three.Simpson is a wild card. Do his fans watch? I'll change up my finale...Charlie(I've always thought Meryl could rub people wrong. Gotten that impression before the Olympics), Cameron and Drew.

I happen to see Chelsie Hightower on GMA on a panel that reviewed the dances last night. If they fired her along with the band and Brooke, then that blows my theory the producers are trying to skew the show to attract younger viewers and get some of that vibe the other dance shows have?

The producers must be also from "Bachelor Pad" due to the insipid "drama" they highlighted last night (James and Peta being past 'somethings' and Danice stealing Candace's boyfriend in their teen years, etc.)
