Just wanted to point out a couple of things ....Universal's Creature is cheaper but probably because they made enough money from the complete Classic Monsters Essential box to cover any costs for producing a 3d version. October 2 2012 for the whole box and then June 4 2013 for individual titles. Warner can afford to charge less for recent movies such as Journey because they generated enough money at the box office and have more selling power. Catalog such as Dial M which cost six figures to produce has to come at a higher price tag to cover video production costs (remastering, supplemental features). Don't know if it was Paramount or Warner's idea to avoid a stereoscopic Friday the 13th part 3 in the box set. Did they analyze Universal's figures to decide (?). Shout Factory probably had to package the 3 Amityvilles together to justify the production cost of the third title.
