Best Answer enerplex1 , February 24 2014 - 12:30 PM

Never mind. I opend up the projector looked fine in the inside closed it up and still had the same problem i changed the power cord and SUCCESSES i started working properly. The old power cord looked thicker and better build quality but i guess it was damaged somehow . Anyway it turns on and off now perfectly and the since i lowered the green color i looks awesome actually this projector looks brighter than my 2500 lumen sharp projector . Thanks guys

I have A Epron ub8700 i bought used on ebay. It has two problems. One is that there is a green tint that i fixed by lowering green on the color setting ( this green tint is probably because one of the LCD is dying or burnt. The other problem that sometimes when i click the power button to turn it on the projector starts and it displays the Logo EPSON and then shuts off the bulb and it does this 3 times Sometimes 2 but eventual the projector turns on. Has someone else had this problem where you have to turn on the projector two or 3 times before it starts???? also it does not have an epson brand light bulb.

Is there an internal button on the projector that i can click to reset everything to factor settings??

Other thing worth noting is that when my computer detect that the projector has been turned on if flicker the main monitor. When i click to power button and the pc flicker right away the projector starts up right away if the PC monitor does not flicker right away then the projector does not start .

And how did you lower the green color? It sounds like you need to calibrate the projector with a calibration disc also.
