I have a Pioneer VSX-322 receiver which has a two Pre Out Surround Back connections which I believe need to be connected to an amplifier and then to the speakers.
What sort of amplifier do I need?
Would an amplifier with integrated Pre Amp (such as used to connect a Phono) be OK?

I see no pre-outs anywhere. Other than the one subwoofer.Hook your speakers up to the 2 sets of binding posts and 3 sets of spring clips. You twist the binding posts exactly as described in the manual.

I'll take it back. Apparently that AVR does have provision for 7.1.Is 7.1 what you are doing?(The US didn't get that AVR, we start at the 5xx. Pioneer EU website actually opened for me)If you are doing 7.1...do you want the back two channels to be your 2.0?...and why back there?
