I have a Pioneer VSX-322 receiver which has a single Pre Out Sub connection.
I am looking at buying something similar to a Bowers & Wilkins ASW 10cm Subwoofer which has two line in connections.
How do I connect the two pieces of equipment and what cable do I need?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

All you need is a single RCA-terminated cable. Connect the pre-out to either one of the inputs (unless one is specifically labeled for use for a mono input - but it really shouldn't matter).

The subwoofer signal encoded to all DVD and Blu-ray discs is mono anyway (hence the ".1"). Most receivers touted as ".2", actually just split the mono signal to two outputs. The stereo inputs on the subwoofer are simply combined internally anyway. You gain nothing by splitting the single output from your AVR to feed both inputs on the subwoofer.
