While Buffy, Angel, Charmed, 7th Heaven, Enterprise, Voyager, Reba, and Roswell saw complete series releases, I am absolutely stunned Breaker High, Seven Days, the remaining seasons of Mo'Eisha (likely due to song rights tangles), The Parkers, Cuts, Smart Guy, Unhappily Never After, For Your Love, and several others never saw DVD release at all!And as far as Eve, In The House, and Clueless: The TV Series goes, it won't happen due to the massive amounts of copyrighted pop songs used in those shows.People, which unreleased UPN or WB show has never saw DVD release, and needs to be released to DVD as soon as possible?

All 3 seasons of Roswell were released, but with all the music replacements it didn't seem like the same show.

The trouble with UPN is it had so many utter flops, shows that lasted seven weeks or less. Nobody remembers most of them. On WB, I did like a sitcom called Muscle which was a spoof of fitness centers, didn't last long but I'd like to see it again. Savannah is my holy grail from those early WB days; that show was like its crown jewel at the time and I can't believe they didn't give it a third season.

Is Roswell worth picking up? I read some of the information, but I am unclear if the show is worth adding to my collection.

I have been fascinated with Roswell UFO incident, but from readin the plot of Roswell the show has little to do with the UFO incident. I welcome your thoughts and/or suggestions!

I enjoyed Roswell. It has been a while since I saw it though. Dark Skies may be something more in line with what you are wanting but the general plot, in distant memory, in Roswell in the then modern day, there are three kids who are aliens descneded from those things that seemingly might have happened back in the original incident. Oh wow, I have forgotten much about this show. Think of a show somewhere between Buffy and Charmed but about aliens instead of vampires and witches. It is a teen centered supernatural science fiction drama with some action.

Also, Nowhere Man is a great UPN series that did get a DVD release. Also Veronica Mars. There have been dvds for Jamie Fox and Wayans Bros too.

if undecided, you wait for a sale.

if you dont like it, you can always sell it.

i have bought some movies that i found so bad, i could not sit thru it.

on the other hand, i have seen some that i really liked.

if i had not bought anything, i would be the worse off, for my taste.

another thing i like to do is try to find video clips on youtube.

that may give you an idea of what the show is about.

Roswell was 100% cleared for streaming on the TheWB.com.

You might want to suggest this series to Shout! to license.

I best describe it as My So-Called Life mixed with sci-fi. That's largely due to Jason Katims.

Roswell is a metaphor for alienation. The New Mexico setting and mythology surrounding the 1947 UFO crash is the backdrop.

It is also highly serialized.

I didn't get into the series until the third episode.
