The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Is there some reason that Take Me Home Tonight is being re-released? It appears to have new cover artwork but is there anything else that's different? It's not the greatest movie by any means but I enjoyed it.

Mike...who is this Scarlett person?  I don't think I've ever seen her here before.

Nothing for me this week.  Saving my pennies for a Las Vegas trip starting on Monday.

conf45.gif  I cannot imagine what happened there.  But at least you fellas got a peek at my template that I use each week to build the RoundUp!

I have now fixed the correct images...which were there all the time.  I'm really not sure what happened there.  But we are now good to go!

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike.

I'll be reviewing Enough Said once it comes in, and I hope to have last week's Archer review up this evening. It only came in late Friday.

I'll be picking up You're Next (a movie that manages to be fairly suspenseful/scary and have a demented sense of humor at the same time) this week.

For those that haven't seen them, Enough Said and Fruitvale Station are both well worth renting.

Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Thanks, Mike. Nothing for me this week.

I have to add, though, that music buffs (and even non-music buffs) owe it to themselves to rent or stream Morgan Neville's hugely entertaining documentary, 20 Feet From Stardom. It is straight-forward in approach, but it is rich in music history and features interviews and memorable music performances from some of the finest backup singers in the world, past and present. It is a rousingly, feel-good production, and well worth a look-see.

Just Blind Date for me.  Preordered it at Amazon when it was only $12.58 (& had a $10 promo credit).   Thanks for the Roundup.

No problem.  Here they are.  Enjoy!

For the record, these are the images I have stored in my template that get replaced with each week's "new release" images.  Ironically, I am now collecting a folder of Jennifer Lawrence images to potentially replace Scarlett.  Heresy, I know.

"Scoop" is a Woody Allen Movie, and Woody Allen doesn't make bad movies!

IIRC, I think that particular still image is the best thing to result from that production...

I remember being pleasantly surprised by Scoop, and not just because of Scarlett's scarlet swimwear! Reviews were pretty bad, but I enjoyed it.
