As the race between the two TV titans continues the domain of the projector starts to come into question.

Both LG and Samsung have said that they will unveil a 105" LCD UHDTV at CES.  While I am not a fan of "curved" screens, the fact that there is another screen that is over 100" is pretty interesting for home theater enthusiasts.  As OLED becomes available in higher yields and cheaper pricing, it seems like we could start to see 10' wide OLED screens, thus replacing the projector for the majority of home theater users.

Of course, that would probably be 5 years before we could hope to see a 10' OLED screen, but with the supposed great color and inky blacks, it would certainly put most projectors for home use out the market.

Now what is interesting is that on 12/30/13 Samsung unveiled a 110" UHD TV for a mere $150K!  How this all fits into the 105" unveiling is beyond me.
