Not a surprising pairing, considering they've been out that way on DVD for 6 months...a pattern to keep in mind.

Those Warner double features are great deals IMO, I have a lot of them, and as suggested they "encourage" you to watch a film you might not have otherwise. OTOH, some of them have one great film and one IMO real (but vaguely related) dud, but the price is reasonable and often it's little more than for one title anyway.

I have an old radio spot for a double feature of THE DIRTY DOZEN and GRAND PRIX. That was a strange double bill in Theatres and a long one.

Screened the BD of Stalag 17 for my sister and her fiance last night, whilst both are fans of movies neither are massive film buffs (both at age 23 there preference is skewed toward modern cinema), however the film went down really well with them. I even heard one of the comment that they'll have to pick-up the BD. My job is done!  :D

I want Stalag 17. I don't need The Dirty Dozen. I already have it.

"You bring a horse for me?" "Looks like......looks like we're shy of one horse." "No.......You brought two too many."
