Via a gift card and a refund, I've got a credit in my US account. Will that apply to UK also? After all, they automatically share my account information, like billing info.

But a family cat is not replaceable like a wornout coat or a set of tires. Each new kitten becomes its own cat, and none is repeated. I am four cats old, measuring out my life in friends that have succeeded but not replaced one another.--Irving Townsend

Gift cards and Amazon Credits usually do not apply outside of the original issuing entity.
US GC only work for amazon US. 98% Store Credits are country specific
