The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

What is known about the John Wayne collectors edition? I have found nothing at $14.99 on the target website. Is it Blu ray or DVD? Does anyone have a picture of the box?

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike. I'm glad I had one review for you to link.

I'm slated to review The Family, Burn Notice: Season 7, and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters this week, but the review copies have not yet arrived.

Thanks, Mike.

It looks like "Justified: The Complete Fourth Season" and Kick Ass 2 from Target for me. Normally I'd wait on both until the prices come down, but all of the good TV shows are going on the Christmas hiatus until January. And I've dying to get my hands on the Blu-Rays for the fourth season of "Justified" since it aired, as it was probably the best season yet. And while Kick Ass 2 is by all accounts a vastly inferior sequel to the first film, I loved the first film so much that it pretty much has to be a blind buy for me.

And I was thinking that I could ride out the rest of 2013 with no more purchases...

Call me *crazy* but I'm thinking of grabbing that "Burn Notice" complete series set!!

Loved "the man", Bruce Campbell's", role in the series. And the way it sets up it's almost like *two* spy series in one: One comedic and the other serious. Yeah, I'm getting it!

(No Blu, but most of my TV series are on DVD anyway, so no big deal ...)

I am so very late to this party...

I'm going to try really really hard not to buy a thing until the new year.  That likely will be an epic fail this weekend, but I have to at least try.  (Between the small fortune I'm spending on Christmas this year-plane trip and rental car-I need a third job.)  :)

The Lone Ranger

EDIT:  Oooops.  I see that I had the link to The Lone Ranger already in the OP.  Ah well.

Hey, Neil!

Thanks for posting up the link!

I didn't see your review.  I look at the page that's generated by clicking the "Blu-ray Reviews" link at the top of each forum page.  And your Indy review isn't listed there.

I know exactly what happened. Neil, you forgot to tab your review with the edit title tab "Blu-ray Reviews," and thus it wasn't added to that particular database. Look at the Reviews forum and your review stands out because it's missing that little blue tab at the beginning of the title.

It's so easy to forget, particularly since if you go back and edit the review at all, that tab disappears and has to be replaced manually.

Matt has also now posted up a review of The Family:thumbsup:

Don't know much about that movie, but I always thought the casting of Michelle Pfeiffer as  Dianna Agron's mom was rather inspired...

I always find it neat when the casting people match up actors in parent/child roles who are similar in appearance.
