That is what I keep finding out. BU is the former AB, except in a few cases like Let Sleeping Corpses Lie. Where, basically because it is newer, there are extras that exist now...that didn't then.

 

It would help if I kept up with "who owns and distributes what"...

Well, they're not actually. Bill Lustig, owner of BU, worked for Anchor Bay before starting his own company (using the name - with permission - of David Gregory's doc/supplement company). Lustig took many of the titles he'd helped license for AB when he left. Many of those titles he's since released are simply ported over, with company logo fixes. Even the first dvd of LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE was a port of the AB disc.

By "is" I meant the releases....not the companies...
