I just got a new projector (BenQ W1070). Unfortunately, I need to remount it on my vaulted ceiling. I figured I need a 60" mount from the ceiling down to the proper height for the projector to be suspended.

I can't find a mount online that long, is there a  mount plus extension pole to achieve this or another way to solve this problem and also where to get it?

Thanks.

What is wrong with an extension tube?

Nobody makes a "ready to go" 5 foot drop mount.

I started to realize that there isn't a all-in-one unit. What type of mount would be added to the Chief CMS0305 3-5' Adjustable Extension Column?

A Chief.

http://www.amazon.co...projector mount

Chief(if you look at their website) makes cross reference easy. And they tend to cost less than Sanus.

with those 2 pieces, I'm good to go? Does the extension pole have a mounting plate at the top to mount to the ceiling?
