Player:

Sony BDP-S350

Movies:

Midnight in Paris (SPC)

The Hobbit:AUJ (WB)

On those two movies there is no dialog. At all. The soundtrack plays through all the speakers like it should(lossless with or without DSX/width). But, the dialog is always muffled to non-existent. Firmware, as it has said the last two days, is up to date(went through update 5 times total).

Tried PCM 2.0 and 5.1. None of the audio setting changes makes a bit of difference. Tried SAP on/off as well. Tried(where applicable) the alternate language soundtrack.

For what it is worth...,my Panny(two BD35 and one 77) and Orei don't have a problem with either movie.

Sony gave up support and time to bin it?
