GoldenEar Technology has been a fast rising star in the audio industry over the past three years since its debut at CEDIA 2010 in Atlanta. This year at the CEDIA EXPO, GoldenEar Technology has announced a new soundbar and two new center channels. The SuperCinema 3D Array XL (SC3DAXL) Soundbar is designed for large TV’s and features some technology never seen before in a soundbar. The SC3DAXL incorporates the Left, Center and Right channels, each with individual HVFR (High Velocity Folded Ribbon) ribbon tweeters and four 4.5” bass/midrange drivers with a proprietary phase plug. The SC3DAXL measures in at 62” wide x 4.75” high and 2.75” deep and will have an expected frequency response of 80Hz – 35KHz with 91dB efficiency.

Two new center channels from GoldenEar technology have also been announced at CEDIA 2013. Both are part of the SuperCenter family and are designed to pair with the Triton tower and Aon bookshelves already available. Two new models will be available, the SuperCenter X (SCX) and SuperCenter XL (SCXL). Both the SuperCenter X and SuperCenter XL will feature a D’Appolito array of 5.25” bass/midrange drivers and a HVFR ribbon tweeter. The primary design attribute distinguishing these two is the number and size of the bass radiators. The SCX features a single 7”x10” radiator, while the SCXL features two 6.75”x8” radiators. The two center channels will be available in October 2013, with retail prices of $599 and $799 respectively.
