Great photo's (as usual), Pat!In fact, to me it looks like you're using a new camera. Is that right? That must be the Convention Centre next to the Marriott hotel, isn't it? Yup, that's the Marriott next to the Convention Center.


For the walkabout cosplayer photos, I was mainly using a small Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera, and hand-held off-camera speedlite for the lighting.


The photos from the Masquerade rollcall were shot with a more conventional Canon 5D MK3 dSLR since I needed the shooting speed.

Pat - that was a great post.  Thanks for allowing us to share on your unique vision of that event.  Those folks put the fanatic in fan!
