The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Is The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc Sec in French with English subtitles? With an optional English soundtrack? I'm only getting it if it's original sound format.

Mike, hate to open old wounds, but I don't see Shane or Olympus pictures.  :(

I have The Muppet Movie coming...strange it hasn't shipped from Amazon yet...

I'm hoping they did Flashdance right audio/video wise--but still will wait for dirt cheap, or maybe next BestBuy upgrade sale.

Thanks for the roundup!  Memo to stores: If you expect us to pay attention to your exclusives, it might help if the ad gave a description of what was on the bonus disc.  I would have been interested in the Once Upon a Time bonus disc at Best Buy, but without any information about what exactly that is, I just allowed my long-standing preorder with Amazon to stand, and it's already shipped.  If anyone gets the Best Buy version, I would like to know what I'm missing.

Due to the price, Once is it for me this week, I'll get Muppet Movie later.

Mike, thanks as always for this.

YOu may want to edit the link for the ABC TV coupon... You have a letter wrong. (you have ...TConDVD... instead of ...TVonDVD...)

This is BS.  I don't know why images are starting to pose problems for me.

Are they fixed now?

I just loaded the page and I can see all of the images.

Boy... I'm glad that I ordered Body Double a couple of weeks ago. It's apparently sold out already. It arrived in the mail yesterday with a broken case. Oh well... I can replace that. I'm looking forward to seeing it again after 25+ years

Mike,

I can now see the pictures fine, but now as always since the migration, the pictures occlude the right column with recent topics and reviews. This does not happen on other pages, just the roundup. FYI only.

I'll be picking up Girls: Season Two this week. That remake of Shaft is pretty cool but I'll probably wait a few months and grab it on sale.

Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

I'm working on the review for Once Upon a Time: Season Two  as I type, but I'm only seven episodes in so it'll take awhile (I do watch every episode).

Of course, I put the review for Sexy Beast up last night, and it can be found here.

I saw all of the pictures just fine, Mike. Nice poster art for Seconds. Congrats!

I liked the new version of Shaft, too, but the tone is different from the original, of course.

Related to Disney releases, I guess they have gotten away from their $3, $5 or even $8 off coupons. Haven't seen them in many, many months. Anyone else have any more info on that? I know that if you pre-order over at amazon they often have a digital coupon for a week or so. Other than that, that is all I normally see now.

^ I think those coupons may be a thing of the past. If memory serves, they usually only had the coupons on the bigger catalog titles and the new releases (so The Sword And The Stone or Robin Hood probably wouldn't have ever had one) but even Peter Pan didn't have one earlier this year which is what makes me think the coupons are over. That being said, I'm pretty sure that Brave 3-D disc had a coupon last year so maybe Monsters University will have one too.

Doctor Who: Spearhead from Space on Blu for me. I'm really interested to see how the one "classic" Who serial that was shot on film looks in HD. The reviews from the UK have been very promising.
