Shocked to hear that Dennis Farina passed away last night due to a blood clot in his lung. He was 69.

Loved watching Mr. Farina in films like SNATCH and GET SHORTY.

Very sad news!

He also had one season on Law and Order, in which I thought he was terrific. Never knew why it was just one season. He could play both sides of the law and could be quite funny.
But a family cat is not replaceable like a wornout coat or a set of tires. Each new kitten becomes its own cat, and none is repeated. I am four cats old, measuring out my life in friends that have succeeded but not replaced one another.--Irving Townsend

Wow. Sorry to see this. He was one of the more memorable characters in SNATCH.

Customs agent: Anything to declare?

Cousin Avi: Yeah. Don't go to England!

I always crack up when he says that line..

"You bring a horse for me?" "Looks like......looks like we're shy of one horse." "No.......You brought two too many."

He actually had two seasons, but yeah, he was terrific as Detective Fontana.
