Will the long rumored Apple TV finally come out?!

According to DigiTimes, Apple is interested in purchasing 55- and 65-inch Ultra HD panels from LG Display.

Apple is reportedly in the process of testing the technology, so it has not yet finalized its order with LG.

If it does, it could mean that the Cupertino, California-based tech giant will release its first television in 2014.

We have reported on this many times before, directly from analysts predictions, but nothing has shown up. Maybe, just maybe this will be the real thing?  If so, Apple's nod to UHD is definitely interesting because that would infer that they would have native 4k content.

I'm also hoping that it would mean color accurate and correct displays like their desktop units!
