It wasnt a pre-order and mine was shipped today The comic - con is available now. My question is - if titles are ready already, why does a studio wait a few months before the release date ? Do they need to negotiate with retailers ?

Ron, is that cover art new original art? It's not familiar to me at all. I like it.
I cancelled my Amazon order and ordered it direct from FoxConnect.com. Why wait for months when it can be here in days?

True, it is $2.50 more from FoxConnect, plus shipping, but Amazon charges tax (and shipping, if you don't have Prime). I'm going to call it a break-even, plus I don't have to wait 2 months.

I was eight years old when I saw it. My father was attending a convention in Atlanta, and my family went to this one afternoon. I spent most of the movie hiding my eyes I was so frightened. Can't believe my extreme reaction now, but back then horrific images on the screen were very rare (especially for a young kid), and I was just terrified.
