Fans are going nutso over the announcement, so I'm left scratching my head and wondering what I'm missing. Also, I'd have to buy it to see it since chances of Netflix getting it are slim to none. If I'm still in Chicago when it's released (I'm in the midst of buying a house), the library will get the DVD copy -- If this is the case, I'll try to borrow it first.
It's your money, but personally if the film didn't work for me, I wouldn't be buying the BD. I don't think you're missing anything. Every film has its fans and critics. I'm sure there are people out there that don't like a film you love that is well thought of.
