On That Metal Show on VH1-Classic this season, they have several clear panes of framed glass hanging around the set.  When need arises, they show video on these screens (and the panes are no longer visibly clear).  Is this a real thing, or is it just a CG mock-up, video added later?  I did a search and found that Samsung has recently been prototyping this idea, but I find it surprising that a low budget cable show is already using them.  Though, I suppose low budget is relative when we're talking Viacom.

Okay, here is one of them:

The thing with the show logo currently on it, if it's not obvious.
