Korea-based panel makers have plans to begin mass producing 55-, 65- and 75-inch Ultra HD TV panels in the third quarter of 2013, according to industry sources.

Samsung Display will reportedly begin mass producing 65- and 75-inch units in the third quarter following its production of 55- and 85-inch units in previous quarters, the sources said, adding that the company will provide the panels to Samsung Electronics with the possibility of later providing 55-inch units to China-based TV vendors.

LG Display meanwhile is expected to start mass producing 55- and 65-inch Ultra HD TV panels in the third quarter following its production of 84-inch units. The panels will mostly be provided to LG Electronics in addition to China-based TV vendors such as Konka and Skyworth. Sony may also purchase the panes from LG Display as well, the sources added.

So, the outstanding question is.... how much will they cost?  I wonder how much that 84" unit will cost?
