Release Features All 22 Episodes from the Smash Hit Television Series' Second Season

Plus Bonus Content Including a Featurette, Commentary and a Gag Reel

 

 

BURBANK, CA (July 1, 2013) -- In a world where everyone is watched, two men work together in secret to prevent violent crimes before they happen. Person of Interest: The Complete Second Seasonwill be available from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) on September 3, 2013. This must-own release will feature 22 episodes plus over an hour of bonus content from the successful series' sophomore season. The Blu-rayª Combo Pack, which includes the Blu-rayª and standard DVD editions of the release, also includes UltraVioletTM  and will retail for $69.97 SRP. The standard DVD will be available for $59.98 SRP.

 

The winner of the 2012 People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama stormed into its second gripping season with more unknowing targets of violent crime primed for rescue by the Person of Interestteam.  Billionaire tech genius Harold Finch (Emmy¨ winner Michael Emerson – Lost) and ex-CIA operative John Reese (Jim Caviezel – The Thin Red Line) face adversaries from Reese's undercover past that threaten the team's crime-fighting mission and anonymity. Meanwhile, NYPD Detectives Joss Carter (Oscar¨ nominee Taraji P. Henson – The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Lionel Fusco (Kevin Chapman – Mystic River) face down FBI probes and the dangerous tentacles of the police conspiracy known as "HR."  Will the team be shut down?  Will "The Machine" fall into the wrong hands?  Viewers will be riveted as the spellbinding second season unfolds.

Entering its third season this fall on CBS in its new Tuesday 10pm timeslot, Person of Interest was created by Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight trilogy) and executive-produced by J.J. Abrams (FringeLost), Nolan, Greg Plageman (Cold Case) and Bryan Burk (Fringe, Lost). Person of Interest is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc., in association with Bad Robot productions and Warner Bros. UltraVioletª allows consumers to instantly stream and download all 22 episodes from The Cloud for viewing on computers and compatible iOS and Android devices.*

 

WBHE will offer the first two seasons of Person of Interest through all major digital retailers including iTunes and Amazon Instant Video beginning June 11, 2013. Complete seasons will be sold separately at expected retails of $39.99 (SD) and $49.99 (HD). Individual episodes will retail for $1.99 (SD) and $2.99 (HD) each.
