Given the show's age, I'd guess that they edited a number (maybe even all) of the seasons on videotape. If that's the case then there'd have to be a Star Trek: The Next Generation-style upgrade where they go back to the original negative, etc.

I thought that might have to be the case, Travis.I feel like the investment would be worth it--the show still has a huge following!I actually met Kim Cattrall last week in London. I didn't tell her how much I love the show--I figure she probably hears that all the time--but did tell her how much I've enjoyed her stage work, most recently two weeks ago in Sweet Bird of Youth. She couldn't have been lovelier!
