Reviews seem very positive. When I pulled up Amazon and typed "the" in the search box (without selecting a department), the predictive search drop-down showed a list of variations on "The Last of Us."

I will definitely check this out. . .someday, after I get around to Uncharted 3. . . :)

I'm 5 hours in and mostly having fun. There was one sequence where I was shooting upside down that frustrated. The character animations are fantastic. Cannot wait for next gen updates to this tech,

I'm waiting too. In fact, I may wait so long that sony give it away free on the PS+. Like I ended up doing with Uncharted 3. :P

Amazing. Story is perfect so far with emphasis on drama, graphics are better than anything on any console currently, and game control is quite average.
After wasting my money on 'State Of Decay' for the 360 that is a true piece of shit(thanks IGN I will never trust a review from you again) it is good to know end of the world games can still be done right.

I hardly ever play games on the PS3. I am typically a strict PC gamer. However, this game really looked interesting to me and the reviews sure sold me on it. I think I am about 16 hours into the game and I can say that this thing is a masterpiece. Simply an amazing game with heart, characters, action, suspense and humour. My only complaint is that I had to play it on the PS3 because I suck at shooting using the controller. I would mop up if I could use a mouse and keyboard! :)

If you have a PS3, you owe it to yourself to get this game. It is just outstanding!

You can use a mouse and keyboard on the PS3, can't you? You just need bluetooth or USB. I think the game has to have support specifically built in, though.

Haha...that Penny Arcade cartoon is great. That would pretty much be the only negative thing about that game...and even that is forgivable. Mind you , more than once I was doing some super-duper stealthy creeping and the sudden sound of one of the other characters stampeding around me would put a good scare into me!

Never tried the mouse/keyboard on the PS3. Again, I hardly ever play games on it so it never occurred to me. I will have to search around and see if this game supports that.

This is the best video game I have ever played. Story, characters, graphics, game play, etc...And I am a huge gamer. No game has ever affected me emotionally like this one. Just sayin.... :)

Ellie can be babbling on and on making all kinds of noise and the clickers never run at her. You sneak a little too fast and they immediately aggro on you.
This game requires an insane amount of patience and some luck. The Getting around the clickers, even on easy is an amazing chore for me... tons of restarts. That said, the storyline is fantastic.

Just finished. One of the most beautiful, well written games I have ever played. Fantastic. Whoever wrote this deserves praise. There are a lot of films I've seen this year that didn't have this kind of dramatic resolve/tension. Great all the way through.

This is one of the few games that exceeded the hype instead of letting us down. I'm amazed at just how good it is in every single way.

Great DLC. Beat it on normal in little over three hours. Still the greatest game I have ever played.
