Someone asked them on their Facebook whether there's any progres with MGM/UA deal, to which they replied "We'll be making an official announcement soon."

What MGM titles would you like to see get Blu-ray release by Twilight?

The Train (Frankenhaimer)
One, Two, Three (Wilder)
Thunderbolt & Lightfoot (Cimino)
Southern Comfort (Hill)
From Noon Til Three (Gilroy)
Breakhart Pass (Gries)
Irma La Douce (Wilder)
The Fortune Cookie (Wilder)
The Barefoot Contessa (Mankiewicz)
Birdman of Alcatraz (Frankenheimer)
Witness for the Prosecution (Wilder)
Mississippi Burning (Parker)
In the Heat of the Night (Jewison)
Coming Home (Ashby)
Bound for Glory (Ashby)
Thieves Like Us (Altman)
The Birdcage (Nichols)
Dillinger (Hill)
Trapeze (Reed)
Valdez is Coming (Sherin)
The Woman in the Window (Lang)

I'm not sure what MGM now owns the rights to anymore so i'll just say yes to all in the first post and add some newer flicks to the mix, i doubt we'll see The Alamo as it needs work on it and Twilight Time can't afford to pay for that and MGM won't.

2 Days In The Valley
Mulholland Falls
Desperate Hours
Untamed Heart
Running Scared

Great list, Didier - I concur with 90% of it, to which I would add:

Alice's Restaurant
Bananas
The Black Stallion
The Defiant Ones
Dogs Of War
A Funny Thing Happened To Me...The Great Train Robbery
Jack the Giant Killer
Juggernaut
The Knack
The Magic Sword
The Miracle Worker
Moby Dick
The Offence
On the Beach
Return Of A Man Called Horse
Smile
Support Your Local Sheriff
Tom Jones
Topkapi
What's New Pussycat? The World Of Henry Orient
Any available Woody Allen titles

Definitely both of these though Criterion might do more with them than Twilight Time could.

And add Women in Love and The Music Lovers.

Here are some of the titles that I would love for TT to release

Khartoum 2:76 aspect ratio master showing on MGM HD
Thief
Exodus
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
Rollerball
On the Beach
Judgement at Nuremberg
Moby Dick
Great Train Robbery
Cuba
The Train
Valdez is Coming
Yankee Zephyr

I'd say that's a good start ;)
Plus I beleive that all of those already have HD masters that are showing or have shown on MGM HD. Plus these would be GREAT upgrades as all of the mentioned discs previously had non-anamorphic dvd's...or in the case of Yankee Zephyr..no release at all!

Well thinking of TT prices plus the p&p to the UK, I'll just list four that I'd have to buy:The VikingsTaras BulbaWhat's New Pussycat?A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The ForumI would list The Alamo, but I understand it's in no state for an HD release, hang your heads in shame MGM.

My wish for TT? Please don't touch anything in the MGM/UA library unless it's been properly remastered for HD. MGM's legacy on DVD has become a disappointing blur of incorrect 1.66:1 aspect ratio transfers...letterboxed no less! Some great titles in that library, but unfortunately last seen from MGM on DVD in pretty dicey form.

I mean, did MGM suddenly find a wad of capital to restore and remaster?
