I'd think European fans of Oliver! will be buying the German release, a LOT cheaper & out next week.

There's a European 'Drums' out too, but it's 1080i and no Becoming John Ford (which I hope will also be full HD). This wil be my first TT purchase.

Big ? on Mindwarp* for me too Matt. I do know that it was originally a Fangoria/Columbia release, stars the horror cult superstar Bruce Campbell (wonder if TT will be trying to snag some siggies?), and it was never released on DVD.

Apparently, there's also a 'cut' and 'uncut' version which might make it a hot action item if the latter is what TT is running with.

Of the six I've only seen Oliver! and I don't like it enough to own. I will have to try and see the other five before their release to see if I want them.

Hopefully the German and Italian releases of Oliver, The Way We Were, Guess Who Is Coming To Dinner, and Sleepless in Seattle among others will be region free. I still can't understand how these films get a standard release in Europe but are limited to 3000 in the USA.

Also sorry that with all the voting Fox did for their Film Classics line they gave a John Ford technicolor classic like Drums Along the Mohawk to Twilight Time.

Unfortunately, there is nothing for me this time. Some of these titles seem rather obscure. It would be interesting to know if there is anything from the 1950's in the pipeline, Kim Novak or The Fly perhaps?

or The Fly perhaps?
Good title.

Thought it was already out on Blu-ray....but nope...just checked.
Only the remake is available.

Would love to own the original version on Blu.

JANE EYRE!

Another Elizabeth Taylor film (okay, she wasn't even billed--but she's in it!) on Blu from Twilight Time! Thanks, TT!! Now all we need are Suddenly, Last Summer and The Taming of the Shrew (Sony titles)!

Given the ridiculous amount of good genre material begging to be released by TT on Blu-Ray, I'm stunned that they picked the direct-to-video MINDWARP as their October release. I thought THE BLOB was coming out this fall, but apparently it's on hold until October 2014.

Are we talking about the same film currently available through
Criterion, on Blu-ray and on sale for $20 this week?

Twilight Time will be releasing the 1988 remake.
Hmmm. Learn something new everyday.

For some reason, I never knew that remake ever existed.
