I think you have to put a blu ray in and switch to that input and then you enable cinema smooth, this was my experience with setting my plasma up.

 

You are quite right.  Thanks, as who knows how long it would have taken me to figure that one!

you have to enable 24 fps output on your BD player.

 

Hi Gregg!  Am using a PS3 for my main player.  Will check the output.
