Good morning, I am in the market for a home theater sub. I have had my Tannoy speakers for about 10+ years and looking to either get a complete new system or just getting a sub to compliment them to bring out better home theater sound. Unfortunately i do not have an ultimate set up due to the shape of my living room. I have my fronts on both sides of my 106" screen but my surrounds are together on the projector stand behind the couch facing away from each other 45deg providing sound to the people sitting on the couch. I can try to take a pic or get measurements later. My outlaw 1050 died over the weekend so i had to make a hasty replacement and got the sony str-dh740. Probably not the best I could have gotten but for what i had to work with it seemed like the better. I am liking it better than the model 1050 only because it has the HDMI built in and does its own switching. Anyway now I want to try to pick up a decent sub that will compliment the Tannoy's until i can replace them.
Tannoy M5 (fronts)
Tannoy Mc (center)
Tannoy M2 (surround)
I know I probably just opened up a whole can of worms, so I guess I will just await all the responses.
