Past couple episodes have ventured into "True Blood" territory as far as strange and borderline campy.

we have hit a new level of evil, with these people, I was very happy with the results, and Stevie Nicks just made it better.

I'm rooting for Madison. Mostly because I know the worse things that she does, the worse the payback is going to be.

Bored with the girls.  If it wasn't for Jessica and Angela, I'd be long gone this season.  I certainly hope next season is geared more for adults.

Even for Evan Peters and Denis O'Hare? ;)

Especially O'Hare. If he's in next season, I wonder horrible affliction they'll find for him. Iron lung? Mangled in a car wreck but survived? Eaten alive by a shark and he just walks around with the shark hanging off his leg?

And maybe I'm a freak but I gotta say that even though Angela Bassett must be in her 50's, I still think she's sexy as hell.

LOL.  Yeah, they do give Denis the sexy roles, don't they? :) As for Angela, I swear I'm beginning to believe she might really be Marie Laveau, she looks so good! Read an interview today with Ryan Murphy where he said next season will be

Spoiler
This already sounds like it might be more my cup of tea, like Asylum.  I like this season a lot, but I loved the darkness of Asylum.  We'll see.

The Benedryl potion thing killed me. He just was scamming a way to get his tresured dolly. I was cracking up.

But he did give her the best option in the end. To bury Laveau as she herself was buried.

pun firmly intended, but man did Danny Houston "kill" in this ep, that one, is only going to get better in the next. All hell is going to break loose.

As for next season the mention of hunting Commies "red scare" is a good idea, but also that time frame and Lang working on German might be Nazi Hunting or both.

and say what you will both Lang and Bassett are still hot as hell! and nice to see Bates look like Annie for even a brief moment, knife in hand

its not just beauty, but beauty for age and the way they pull it off.

I'm sure I've said it before but I'm not a huge fan of 'flashy' shots but they do them right on this show. That shot of everyone dead throughout the house was pretty cool looking. And when the coven raised their hands at the Axe Man, they looked like the X-Men or something.

I know they won't and I get the feeling that there isn't going to be too many people left by the end of next episode but I wish they'd continue on with these characters next season.

I agree: best ep of the season to date.  Can't wait for next week, although it appears they may be a dearth of adults.  And I'm curious if my feeling about a certain character being a master manipulator behind the scenes will prove true or not.  As usual I have no clue what they'll do in the finale, and I love that.

Also, I didn't notice that incredible scene between Jessica Lange and Danny Huston was done in one continuous shot until I replayed it.  Great writing, great acting, great directing there.

Madison getting beat down had to be one of the most satisfying moments of the series as a whole. I was a bit shocked at how they went ahead with the supposed 'end' of a main character, I still don't buy she's actually gone. And jesus, that stabbing scene at the end just wouldn't end now would it?

Welcome to the Forum, Felipe!

I completely agree about seeing Madison getting beat down.  To quote Queenie, it was awesome!I am so anxious to see which way they go next week.  I sense a couple of major twists, but who knows?  As usual, Jessica has just thrilled me no end this season.

The whole fun of Madison (and characters like her) is knowing that the worse she acts, the worse she'll get hers by the end. I get the feeling that that beating is just the beginning of her bad luck. :)
