New York, NY - April 11, 2013 - Horizon Movies is proud to announce the Blu-ray and DVD release of Jacob, a new horror film by Larry Wade Carrell, in the unrated director's cut. Ain't It Cool News said, "Jacob's violence echoes off of the screen!"

Jacob comes to Blu-ray and DVD on April 16, 2013, with a SRP of $29.95 for the Blu-ray and $26.95 for the DVD. Special features include director and cinematographer's commentary track, actor's commentary track, deleted and extended scenes, "Storyboard to Screen", "The Journey of Jacob" From Behind the Scenes featurette, an interview at Montreal Comic Con, a screen test featurette, and trailers.

Drawing on the tradition of Southern Gothic slashers like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, the film presents a chilling tale of vengeance, centered around a hulking, troubled child seeking vengeance against the people who destroyed his family.

Jacob Kell (Dylan Horne) is a lonely and quiet kid, mute since his father (Michael Biehn, The Terminator) suffered from a violent mental breakdown. Prone to violence himself, only Jacob's sister Sissy (Grace Powell) can soothe the savage beast inside him. But once his drunken stepfather Otis (played by writer/director Larry Wade Carrell) slaps his mother around once too many, Jacob goes down the same vengeful blood-spilling path as his Dad.
