I was wondering if anyone knew why Fox has not released any of Sonja Henie's musicals on DVD ?  Most were available on VHS years ago.  With the great push to get all of Tyrone Powers's movies out......I thought his two skating musicals w/Sonja would have been released.    Any thoughts ??????

Careful you might get them with horrendous transfers from the Fox MOD program. 😃

Twilight Time has hinted at releasing Sun Valley Serenade on Blu-ray at some point.

That would certainly be the one I would most want.

I own most of her movies on the old VHS format in those gold boxes I think they came in. Good decent musicals from FOX.

I sure hope so. That is one of her best.

Me too.  I saw it on AMC once back in the 1990s.  I really enjoyed it.

I purchased both "Sun Valley Serenade" and "Second Fiddle" on DVD here in Australia about a year ago.

They were in a bargain bin at a large chain store for about $8 each.

Both are legit and proper 20th Century Fox pressed DVDs.

The US Laserdisc double set has "Orchestra Wives" and "Sun Valley Serenade" in rare Stereo.

There is also an isolated music and effects track on the discs.

Doug.

Count me in for Sun Valley Serenade.

My favourite Sonja Henie film is It's A Pleasure in lovely Technicolor which is on my most wanted Blu-ray list.
