Wow! There are some incredible lists here! If all the titles came out for some of the longer ones, I think we'd be seeing some folks filing for bankruptcy! Posted Image

Mine is fairly simple, though I'm sure there are many that I'm not thinking of right now:

1) Indiana Jones Trilogy
2) Star Wars IV-VI (DVD SE with both versions of the films available)
3) Back To The Future trilogy
4) Better Off Dead

Actually, a bunch of the ones I had been hoping for either came out relatively recently or were announced as on the way!

All major studios have passed on Battle Royale, apparently several anime companies are trying to aquire it, but Toei wants too much $$
If Columbine hadn't happened, someone would have nailed it by now for sure. Get yourself a region free player, the Hong Kong disc is DD/DTS with English subtitles despite being non-anamoprhic looks fine.

Besides the obvious Indy, Star Wars, BTTF,

Akira Kurosawa's Dreams
Real Genius
Scarlet Pimpernel(Seymour)
Hamlet (Branagh)
Police Squad
Roger & Me
The Big One

TV SERIES- (If you won't release it, give it to someone who will!)

TV Nation
Space Above & Beyond (1 Season!)
Battlestar Galactica (1 Season! You guys can do it!)
Earth 2 (1 Season!)
Jack of All Trades- (1 Season!)

The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes
A Night at the Opera
A Day at the Races

Right now I'm mostly waiting for Joe vs the Volcano, but I wouldn't mind starting a collection of season sets of Northern Exposure.

Now I remember what I want... All of the old Kurt Russell Disney Movies (well not all but The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Strongest Man in the World, Now you see him Now you don't) And the Tommy Kirk - Merlin Jones Movies (Monkeys Uncle, Misadventures of Merlin Jones)

the Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: Battle For Endor. Who here wouldn't buy those if they'd come out???
Also Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse. Those are three of my favorite films. I love HoD even more than I do Apocalypse Now.
Oh, and someone mentioned Eraserhead. That's supposed to be out in January 2002... just a few more days!
I am so eagerly awaiting next month. Not just Eraserhead, but also white cranberry juice will be in stores. Though Eraserhead may be exclusive to the store at Davidlynch.com, certainly in its initial release (in a cool collectible 8x8 box). White cranberry juice should be in every grocery store.
Nothing Lost Forever: The Films of Tom Schiller

Some damn impressive lists. I would add some 60's camp:

The Producers
Wild in the Streets

And some good ol' rock n' roll midnight movies (does anyone remember midnight movies? They were concerts for people who couldn't get REAL tickets):

Ladies and Gentlemen the Rolling Stones
Montery Pop (I hear it's coming from Criterion)
Emerson Lake and Palmer: Pictures at an Exhibition

And since I'm such a rock n' roll fanatic - howabout the old ABC television series "In Concert"? They had some vintage Alice Cooper, J. Geils Band.... I could go on. They also had the "Califoirnia Jam" broadcast from 197?, that featured Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, ELP.... what would I give to see THAT again.
