Total newb here....

Looking to replace my sub in my media room. I am looking at the Definitive Technology Supercube 8000 vs the Cerwin Vega CVA 121x....

Any thoughts... Suggestions? Which is better for price point? Hell I don't know.

Come on guys. Someone has to have some sort of input. Even if it's to just give me another option to look at. As of right now I'm leaning towards the Cerwin Vega....

It helps to know room size...music/movies listened to...

Cerwin-Vega are great for artillery fire.


And, by the way, people do actualy go to bed around here...10p.m. to 4a.m.(for me)...I was asleep.

How do we know that when you don't list your location?

Since your budget is $1,000+ based on the prices of your two subs listed, you need to look at http://www.powersoundaudio.com/ .

Def Tech makes great subs but not the best for your money. CV makes loud subs. They have never been known for their accuracy. Plus, the CV you listed is a live audio sub and not designed for home theater use.
