The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.
I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you
want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!
Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

I'm having a real tough time figuring out if I'm going to cancel two of the three Disney double features this week from Amazon. On one hand, I'm using an Amazon gift card for them so I'm not spending anything. On the other, the BB price is going to be six bucks less. I'll prolly give it until Monday morning to see if the price comes down at all. Otherwise, this is a big week for me: Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Brother Bear, Roger Rabbit, Batwoman and Brainiac Attacks. Good thing I've been selling a number of DVD's for fairly good prices in the last week or so.

No. I know nothing about the animated Batman stuff...but if you click the amazon links, you'll see that they are distinct products.

Renting Hitchcock and Life of Pi. My buying days have pretty much come to a grinding halt, and with a possible move this spring/summer I don't need anything more to pack!

The only thing that may make sense is if the DVD and BD had staggered release dates.

+1 I sure wish Amazon could match the special Best Buy deal. I've got Mulan and Hunchback pre-ordered from Amazon, too (along with Roger Rabbit).
Those two titles from Amazon currently are $49.98. The Best Buy deal is $43.98. Nice difference.

I was hoping BB would have The Blob for around 19.99 like they've had some popular Criterions in the past. Guess I'll wait for B&N in June.

Thanks for the roundup. Getting Rise Of The Guardians from BB, Disney prices are horrible. This is one reason why I'm glad I've kept my Disney Movie Club membership (even though I rarely use it). They had 2 of the titles available for the monthly offering for $39.98 & as a VIP I got the other 2 for 1/2 price which is $14.99 each. Getting all 4 for $69.91 with free shipping, no tax & a free VIP Pin + Hunchback 3D collectible card. About $17 a title & they shipped early & should arrive close to release day. It might be another 6 months to a year before I use them again.

I'm slated to review Life of Pi, Hitchcock, Willow, and Ripper Street, but none of them have arrived as of yet. I reviewed all three movies in the Hitchcock Collection last year when they were released separately, but if Fox sends the box, I'll collate the reviews and print another concise round-up.
What a big week for Disney fans! Thanks, Mike!

It's about time to rejoin. I think I have 7-10 Blurays finally accumulated that would bring my cost down to about $8-9 each.

Interesting that most of these have been 14.99-19.99 for a while. Several of them I got for either 9.99 or 14.99 at the last Upgrade and Save. I think I'll pass on those or at least the 3 or 4 I don;t already have. So it looks like Willow and Rise of the Guardians and maybe Life of Pi. The Criterions will have to wait until July. For those with a SmartPhone/Target app, apparently there is a $3 coupon for Life of Pi that has been distributed. I'm hoping they'll make that more easily available for the heathens.

So is the BB deal on the Disney titles $6 per title if you purchase more than 1, or so you just get a total of $6 off if you buy 2 or all 3?

The exact wording is: Save $6 instantly when you purchase any two of these titles.
They show the three titles: Mulan, Hunchback, Brother Bear.
And, Products must be purchased on same receipt to receive savings.
The only way you could save $12 is to buy four of the titles.
