That Thing You Do!
Written by, directed by and co-starring Tom Hanks, this high-energy comedy about fame and friendship dances on to Blu-ray™ for the very first time. Hanks plays the big-hearted manager of a 1960s pop-rock group called The Wonders that becomes a shooting-star sensation thanks to a delightfully catchy chart-topper called: “That Thing You Do!”

It's nice to know both cuts will be on the disc, and hopefully in HD with the same seamless branching options as the DVD.

The soundtrack got a lot of play back when my sister was still in pre-school. She really loved that "Lovin' You Lots and Lots" song.

Enough is enough, Disney. No more evasions or excuses. We DEMAND the release Song of the South on Blu-ray along with the uncut version of Bedknobs and Broomsticks on Blu-ray. I will not support anything your company produces until then.

Awesome!

I have been hoping for this for a loooooong time.

I even started a thread asking about the possibility of such a release a while back.  I am unable to find it via the new search engine...but found this thread which I had missed when it premiered a few weeks ago.

A  truly under-rated film.  Very entertaining.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

One of my all-time favorite movies.  I'd heard that producer Jonathan Demme assisted in the editing department, and based on how much less I like the "Tom Hanks Extended Cut" (not to mention the train wreck that was Larry Crowne), I'm inclined to believe it.

I'm not as critical of video quality as some here, but I thought the film looked great on my 55" Panny ST50.

Watched this last night; delightful movie. I thought the video quality looked good. I'd never seen the extended cut and was pleasantly surprised it added so much.
