During the entire month of January and February Home Theater Forum will be asking our membership to nominate and then vote upon the BEST and WORST Blu-ray releases of 2012. What makes our awards so important is that they aren't voted from within the industry by committees or journalists. The selection of these awards begin and end with the HTF membership -- those individuals that know Blu-ray better than anyone else!

NOMINATIONS: January 6-19
VOTE FOR THE TOP NOMINATED TITLES: January 20-February 23rd

Winners Will be announced February 24th

PLEASE READ THESE RULES VERY CAREFULLY

1. You may nominate up to 3 titles.  Be certain that these titles were released in 2012. Any nominations for titles not released in 2012 will be disqualified
2. No discussions. Simply list your nominations. This makes it easy for us to compile the results. If you introduce discussion into a thread your nomination will be disqualified

Come back January 20-February 23rd to vote on the final 5 titles in each category

WORST STUDIO 2012

What Studio in 2012 consistently released product that did not rise to the highest standards of the format?

It's a toss up between Disney and Universal. I'll have to go with.... Universal.

Since Alliance for the most part simply repackages US releases, gotta go with Fox.

Universal, both for some shoddy transfers and for their horrible disc-authoring, resulting in it taking forever to begin watching the film.
