The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

But it does have Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale in it. Does that help?

Not sure if you're asking me.  But I don't have a clue...

I really enjoyed Total Recall, but the overall reviews were pretty brutal. I had no interest in seeing TR, but it seemed the lesser of all evils on a very hot afternoon as a 2-hour escape into some air conditioning. I was pleasantly surprised and look forward to the blu-ray. It's quite different from the Schwarzeneggar film. I don't understand the point of all these Friday releases. I'd think it would be better to have your product on the shelf for an entire week before Christmas, instead of just the last three days.

I would not recommend Total Recall as a blind buy.

I'm going to pick up a couple of HBO sets for Christmas gifts but nothing really for me this week. I don't feel the need to own it but Trouble With The Curve is definitely worth a rental.

I'm tempted to do Boardwalk Empire S2, The Pacific and Magic Mike, but I don't think I can justify it.   :(

I'm a terrible influence so I'll say that they're all worth the trouble you'll get into (especially Boardwalk Empire). That being said, HBO sales are common enough that you'll see them again for that price at some point. Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

I'm slated to review Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, but the review disc has not yet arrived.

I'm very interested in Hans Christian Andersen, but I'd sure lke a better price.

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike.

Very cool to see "Sometimes a Great Notion" come out on blue. "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" author Ken Kesey's 'other book' often gets overshined, but Paul Newman did a nice job bringing this to the screen, and one powerful scene with Richard Jaeckel is worth the movie alone. I'll pick this up.

Well, the only person I'd get in trouble with is me, but I just know there will be a better price or other deal the minute I get whatever I want from this sale.

After seeing all the sales this holiday season, I'll be glad to wait until HCA sees a price drop somewhere.  I don't watch my DVd enough to make me need to have it right away.

I'm still suffering from reverse sticker shock at the low prices I saw on so many titles this past month.  Wow.

I am contemplating Trouble With the Curve.  Missed it in the theater.  But, I love baseball, Amy Adams and Clint Eastwood and even Justin Timberlake rarely disappoints.  But I gotta figure prices on that will likely be dropping soon enough, too.  I dunno.  I might not wait.  It would be nice to watch a new baseball movie in the heart of winter.  Anyone wanna give a mini-review?

That's an old, old joke I first heard made in connection with Sinatra's performances at the Paramount when the bobby-soxers were screaming and carrying-on.
