Wiki defines Arbitrage as "the practice of taking advantage of a price difference between two or more markets, and striking a combination of matching deals that capitalize upon the imbalance, the profit being the difference between the market prices."

In Nicholas Jarecki's Arbitrage, Richard Gere plays such an in control exec, with a high level public persona, whose life begins to fray a bit around the edges.

And the tale makes for a very good drama.

The Blu-ray, from Lionsgate is a gorgeous down-rez of the 4k DI, which in turn had been harvested from a 35/3 film source.

The final result is precisely what the filmmakers have intended us to see.

The cinema look is intact, with audio making it's way through home theater systems in DTS-HD Master Audio.

A superb film, released as a perfect Blu-ray disc.

"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did." T.E. Lawrence
