You should try the Kitty Holster. That's what Jackson Galaxy recommends.

We've got something just like that. But we haven't used it consistently and the cats still aren't acclimated.

That is amazing. Even at about a year old I tried a collar and leash with my cat, mega failure. She's now 16, very healthy but definitely runs the house, she'd never tolerate a harness like that. When the time comes, I'll give that a shot with a new kitten.

Now that is just weird.

Makes me think of the original fifties version of Invasion Of The Bodysnatchers.

Lovely pair of cats. Big one wants to play cat and mouse games on the PS3.

First time on this thread......I have owned cats since I was 13 years old. With the exception of one (my first actually) who died at age 4 (hit by a car), my cats have all lived to be at least 15 years old. All purely house cats, most mixed breeds. My most currently one, Sebastian, is a Maine Coon and is 9 years old now and he is my buddy. He loves my wife and kids but he is MY cat. If I'm at home, he's with me......following me around the house as I do stuff, in my lap (or laying on top of the couch behind my head), or sleeping at my feet at night. He's still in great shape but as I was reading this thread it hit me that he's "middle-aged" now and our years together are, at best, more than halfway over.

Enjoy and love them while we can......

Now you listen to me, I'm an advertising man, not a red herring. I've got a job, a secretary, a mother, two ex-wives and several bartenders that depend upon me, and I don't intend to disappoint them all by getting myself "slightly" killed. Lens flare, now I get it. Surprising the cat tolerated things.

My cat lives here somewhere, I see her a few times a week, give her food and water, somebody uses the litter-box, but she's a major loner, I guess I'm the one allowed to live here, it's apparently her home.

Luck of the focus, patience, steady hand. I'm surprised the lens flare worked with angle and the sun in background.

Stan, do you check the picture after you taken it, that looks good clear and focused? I would often delete picture and try again and often have a visual in my mind for the picture. But my fussy cat won't normally face the camera. But he would when he responds to certain words he'll face the direction of the camera. or in case of the ones above I wasn't using any words to get him, to face the camera lens. He was just relaxed mellowed out.

Andy, as mentioned above, my cat "tolerates" me, along with my black lab.

It's kind of amazing, but whenever I let the dog out in the back yard, Olivia immediately appears, knowing she's safe from the dog. Which is really weird because they get along quite well, but I guess she "tolerates" the dog.

I got her and her brother together at 2-3 months old. Wonderful cats, loved being out in the yard but never wandered off, so I let them keep it up. Her brother passed away at about four years old, the vet could never figure out what happened. All the proper vaccinations, no feline AIDS, no cancer, but he dropped from 16 to 8 lbs. in a few months, started losing his hair, and I kept trying to keep him alive, even tube feeding him through an incision in his neck. Never again will I ever do that to a pet. Finally reached the point where I realized he was so uncomfortable and not enjoying life at all when I took him back to the vet and said it was time to let him go.His sister's personality changed so much. She never left the house to play in the yard, has been a total recluse ever since he passed away, she's still here, but like a ghost in the wind, good luck getting a photograph of her.

Sorry to be such a downer commenting on your pictures.

A funny one, 1st Jan 2013, bought a cat into my home who been following me down the road. Must be my cat smell on my cloths?

This tomcat, who was called Ginger, by a relation, who saw the post, as not knowing the name of the cat? He only stayed one night and I took down the road to ask any of the shops who's cat? One person knew the cat likes following people, I let the cat go and it crossed the road and jumped over a fence.

During the time Ginger, was staying for the night, by cat, didn't like it. He was hiding out the way.
