Without resorting to Rap or Dubstep? Getting a good collection going of bass tracks, and I have all I can handle on both of those fronts, but what I would like to round them out is Rock, Jazz, Classic and even World Music (Taiko drums anyone?) that really has amazing sounding bottom end. Thoughts?

This has some you might like. Only one rap tune, but a few electronic selections: http://8tracks.com/c...ee/bass-fishing Based on Audacity spectrum analysis, the bass frequencies range from 31 Hz to 172 Hz, depending on the track. I'll let you try to figure out which ones. :)

I used to have a DTS Audio CD that had jungle sounds, and there was a sequence with a waterfall, I think it was, that just absolutely shook my sub off the wall years ago.. I had I think the Sunfire sub then, and it just lit up on that CD

Saw this track on Reddit and really like what these two guys are doing, wound up buying both on iTunes:

The one guy's cover of Royals is pretty badass too, not much sub tho:

Yello  "Touch Yello"

Really good electronic music complete with frequency sweeps and low bass info.

Most excellent music. They have been around for 30 years or more. Their claim to fame was the song "Oh Yeah" that was featured in several films...but they are much more than that.

Anyone ever tried recording a bass guitar direct into a soundcard analog input jack?

(Wonder how low it can go).

Erykah Badu's Baduizm has a lot of nice low tones throughout the album.

It's not dub step, but there's an essential bass that brings George Winston's music alive.

The best track in the game isn't on the OST, it's the amazing Taiko drum track that plays during public events:

I have reached out to the composers and they know folks want it, they are working on a second disk with mostly ambient and event music, where the OST covered all of the 'themes'.
