I've been out of the loop for awhile now and recently had the money to get some new stuff.
I bought a 50" LCD tv and a 5.1 sound system/blu-ray. I also have my current Xbox 360.
My questions come from the setup problems I've been having.
I have my 360 connected to the Tv in HDMI 1, HTiB connected to HDMI 2 (ARC).
My issue is that I can only hear sound through the 5.1 setup when I play blu-ray movies. I cannot hear sound from my 360 over the same speakers. If I unplug the HTiB from the tv and reset my Audio settings then I can hear the 360 sound on the Tv speakers but that's not how I want it.
I want to be able to hear all of it through the 5.1 channel. So I am wondering how I need to change it all so I can hear it all.
I've heard of a "set-top box" for routing all sound kinda like an Audio switch.
Help is appreciated!!
