The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.
I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp
. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!
Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Big week- I'll be getting Eastbound & Down: Season Three, Finding Nemo and The Simpsons: Season Fifteen. I'll wait on a sale to pick up Catch Me If You Can and as for the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 set, I'll drop some none-too-subtle hints to my sister that I want that for Christmas (and by none-too-subtle hints, I mean saying "Hey, get me that new MST3K set for Christmas").
Fortunately, this is the last big week for me for quite a while.
Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Thanks for the RoundUp Mike. I've had Nemo on pre-order from Amazon for a long time now and I think I'll try to pick up the Target Digibook of TDKR.

Veeeeery interesting. That could explain the wording (carefully replicated in my OP) that studiously avoids the use of the phrase "bonus disc."

I've got TDKR and Finding Nemo on their way to me via amazon. None of the various retailer exclusives really interest me.

I will be keeping my eye on better deals of The Blue Angel (also interested in reviews) and on the '99 London Cast recording of Oklahoma (which I have had--and enjoyed--on DVD for a long time).

====================

Quick story.

After Christmas last year I found a great deal on Santa Paws at a local store and picked it up for dirt cheap. I knew it wasn't likely to be great...but my wife and I love dogs and Christmas...

Well. It was bad. I mean, EPIC BAD. If any of you ever have any thoughts about giving it a try...run for your lives BAD!

We just finished it a few minutes ago and it is already listed on Craig's List BAD.

I cannot believe Disney would have even released it BAD.

My wife is actually reluctant to sell it to anyone else who might buy it for their children to watch it BAD. I'm not kidding.

The Santa is even scary and practically dies a couple of times BAD. There's also a stupid device called the "Magic Christmas Icicle" BAD.

I am NOT making this up. It was that BAD.

I now REALLY want to see Search for Santa Paws...
Is it as bad as "Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny"?

I'm afraid I don't know. Or maybe I'm actually happy that I don't know.

What happened to The Dark Knight Rises: Limited Edition Bat Cowl ?

Good question.

Don't know. I can only find a listing for it on amazon...but with no price.

I saw it on numerous release lists...but at none of the usual retailers.

Finding Nemo 5-disc on the way from Amazon already (I had forgotten I pre-ordered months ago).
FYI, Amazon has matched Best Buy's price on Star Trek TNG Season 2 (a must-have for me).

There is a $5 coupon for the 5 disc Finding Nemo set here (good through 12/9/12, requires Disney Movie Rewards registration). Some people were successful in using the Cinderella version to get a discount off the 2D version, but YMMV.
