Hi everyone, I have an HTPC consisting of an LG 5.1 "home theater in a box" speaker system, a toshiba laptop, and a 46 inch hdtv, I just formatted the laptop and the sound in vista is set to "2 channel stereo" by default and vista does not allow me to change it to 5.1 from the control panel, are there any drivers I can install do fix this issue? The laptop connects to the TV via HDMI and the tv connects to the stereo via optical audio cable, so there is nothing plug and play for the laptop to detect automatically...I used to be able to just select "5.1 surround audio" in the control panel but no longer, for some reason....any advice is appreciated, thanks! Pete
