The James Coburn "Flint" spy spoof movies were the height of chic when they first came out. I remember vividly my girl friend of the time remarking that "James Coburn is so sexy!" I didn't bother to buy these two films on DVD but if the BRDs are good, I might dabble.
Nicholas And Alexandra I'm not sure about. It left me a bit cold when I saw it and I've never seen it since. Still, the cast is dazzling and a certain Freddie Young makes a contribution so I might buy this.
I have the excellent DVD of Experiment In Terror - early Blake Edwards - and it's good enough for me. I don't think I've ever seen Pony Soldier! Sounds interesting and I might buy it.
Twilight Time is certainly keeping faith with fans of classic movies.

I've never seen the Flint movies. They tempt me.
Nicholas and Alexandra is directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, who did Patton, Papillon, and Planet of the Apes. I've never seen it, but it was one of the freebie pan&scan laserdiscs that I got when I first bought a laserdisc player. This one definitely tempts me.

I never considered the Flint films to be parody, or at least complete parodies. They are elements of that to be sure, but I've always categorized them as camp.
I'll be the first to admit that I may not be using the terms parody and camp correctly, but for me the difference is this. Camp embraces the style and conventions of a genre or work and uses exaggeration for humorous effect. Parodies on the other hand are much broader in their machinations and differentiate themselves from their target works to a larger degree. At least that is how I see it. Stated another way, it is a question of degree. For me parodies are films like the Brook's comedies, and Airplane. They are full-on comedies with no restraints. Casino Royale (1967) on the other hand is a camp film, not a parody.
The Flint films work because they are more camp than parody. They embrace the Bond films and apply a layer of exaggerated cool that while humorous still works on some basic levels.
While not directly comparing either work to the Flint films, in terms of style if you like the Matt Helm films or the Batman TV series then the Flint films occupy a similar niche - although I think Flint plays it straighter then either of those franchises.
I'll probably pick up both Flint films on Blu-ray.

I'm certainly getting Experiment in Terror, and though I've never heard of Pony Soldier, a western with Tyrone Power sounds like blind buy material to me.

I've just looked it up. It's not a Western. It's a "Northern" set in Canada and I've never seen it.

If he's fighting Indians then it's a western to me whether he's wearing a Canadian Mountie uniform or not.

I can see that, they're more camp that parody, & never laugh out loud funny. In Like Flint is outrageously ridiculous, esp. Flint as a ballet dancer & the scene on the Cuba airplane. I think that's why it's dated better than Our Man Flint, it's just so mad. Both films are part of my teen years, & with the super cool James Coburn backed by Jerry Goldsmith's music they can't go wrong for me. I always think about the music with Twilight Time releases, I suppose they'll have isolated score tracks, hopefully more music that was on the Varese CD released about 12 years ago.
Now we just need Olive Films to release The President's Analyst on Blu-ray. I think it's Coburn's best 60's film.

Both of them worked for me when I was in my early teens during their theatrical run, but I'm not so sure now, 45 years later.

Can't wait to get Experiment in Terror. Will probably pick up Nicholas and Alexandra as well, although having seen it recently, I don't think it holds up as well as I had hoped. Still, I'd love to see the cinematography, production design and costumes in HD.

It won't be a pre-order for In Like Flint, I'll wait to see what it's like. When I saw a bit of it on Sky Movies HD, it looked a bit less than lush, a bit on the cool side, & the last time that happened was Cleopatra...& the Blu-ray looked just the same as the Sky.

I'll wait for the reviews on Experiment In Terror as I agree .. the DVD is quite good.
Weighing in on the Flint films ... the "height of chic" ... I think not. Fun fare though ... but worth a purchase? Not so sure.

Excellent news on Nicolas and Alexandra, having been praying someone would pick this up.

The question with Nicholas and Alexandra is, will it finally be available in stereo? The vhs tape, laserdisc as well as dvd were all mono. Numerous fans have seen it originally in stereo.

Curious if the extras from the Fox FLINT box set will make it to these discs. And whew! for EXPERIMENT IN TERROR. I very nearly bit the bullet on the OOP Sony disc, which went down in price after the MOD one was announced earlier this year.

Twilight Time's news of their March-April releases made me search this for thread, and seeing the October 27 date of the original post explains why I missed it originally. Here in New York Hurricane Sandy was very much on the horizon that weekend and the following week as well and I guess l never checked this site during that week. That being said, I am very excited about most of of the releases, I will be purchasing all except Nicholas And Alexandria.
