Hope this means there will also be a video on demand version like with season one. Otherwise they can kiss my grits!

I ordered my copy earlier today also from Warner Archive and did a 50+ order for overnite shipping for just $5.00. So excited that Alice seems to be selling well. I hope other fans purchase these sets also.

I know my first Season I actually got pressed discs and not DVD R discs so hoping the first batches of Alice Season 2 are pressed also. Fingers crossed.

Yep these should be an initial batch of pressed discs just like season one so not sure what the definition of Mod is.

MOD stands for manufacter on demand... that is DVDR discs instead of the pressed ones. But yeah but I think it you order the set currently you will more than likely get pressed discs. :-)

My order hasn't shipped yet crossing my fingers it ships today.

Yes, it seems that they make a first run of pressed discs, and I suppose at some point when those sell out, they can switch to manufacturing on demand. The one thing that differentiates the MOD titles is they appear to only be sold on-line, and not in stores.

i got my Warner Archive order today. My Alice packaging was crushed and the same with the DVD of Liztomania so they are sending me replacements.

But the ALICE discs are pressed discs so far! :-)

Which is why I questioned the use of the term Mod in this thread since most people equate Mod with DVD-R's and both season of Alice are using Pressed discs for the initial batch so could be mis-leading for those who care about that..

I say if you want the pressed discs of ALICE Esp Season 2 order sooner than later.

It is considered MOD esp when you can't be 100% sure you will get the pressed discs. the artwork etc is very MOD looking. These are not store bought print jobs for the sleeve cover art.

Don't mean for it to sound confusing... just want consumers to be aware of the product.

For those who are unable to order from Warner Archive, the S2 set is now available on Amazon. You have to search for ALICE: Complete Second Season in Movies/TV and will find it there.

Deepdisount.com has it now as well, and it's quite a bit cheaper than Amazon.com

This set is now 25% off on the Warner Archive site. There is free shipping also for this set! It is only $22.46!! It pays to wait a bit and not pay full price. I think that I got the MOD version and not the pressed version for season 1, and the quality seems good enough to me.

I ordered on Day One to ensure I got pressed discs, and will continue to do so for as many seasons as they release.
